Release notes¶
What changed in each VitruAI release. To update, download the latest installer from the download page. Need an older version? Every past release — with its installer and SHA-256 checksum — stays on the releases page. One installer covers Revit 2024, 2025, and 2026 (no per-version download).
How these notes are produced
Release notes are generated from the project's Conventional Commit history per release
(see the engineering handbook, doc/engineering/05-releases-and-versioning.md and
08-docs-automation.md). They cover VitruAI changes, not upstream framework churn.
v2.0.0 — Public self-serve launch¶
VitruAI opens to public self-serve signup, with the add-in available as a direct download.
Highlights
- Sign up with any work email — create your firm and start a free trial right inside the add-in.
- Direct download from vitruai.com/download, covering Revit 2024, 2025, and 2026 in one installer.
- Verify your download — each release publishes a SHA-256 checksum next to the installer.
Known notes
- This build is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen shows a "Windows protected your PC" prompt on first run — choose More info → Run anyway (details). A signed build is coming.
- Install the required .NET runtime for your Revit version if the add-in doesn't load (prerequisites).
v1.0.0 — General availability¶
The first public release of VitruAI — AI-assisted QA/QC for Revit models.
Highlights
- QAQC Coordinator verifies your active Revit model against project requirements, design rules, and regulatory checks, and returns clear pass/fail findings with the elements involved.
- Reports — save verification reports and review them in the add-in's Reports tab; export to PDF or Excel; Recheck after model changes.
- Firms, members, and roles — owner/admin/member roles, email and shareable-link invites, and per-project access (viewer/contributor/maintainer).
- Billing — per-seat subscriptions plus a prepaid credit pool, top-ups, optional per-member caps, and a self-serve Stripe billing portal.
- Connected devices — pair each Revit machine to your account; owners/admins can view and revoke devices.
- Supported Revit versions: 2024, 2025, 2026.
