Liability & Professional-Responsibility Disclaimer

Effective date: 2026-07-09

This disclaimer is specific to what VitruAI does: its AI agents work with building-information models and project data to assist with AEC tasks — including reviewing models against rules and codes, producing documentation, and coordinating disciplines. Because some of that touches life-safety and code compliance, read this carefully. It supplements, and is incorporated into, the Terms of Service and EULA.

1. VitruAI is decision-support, not a professional service

VitruAI is an assistive tool. It is not an architect, engineer, code official, or licensed professional, and it does not provide architectural, engineering, legal, or code-compliance services or certifications. Output is generated by AI models and automation and may be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, or wrong.

2. The licensed professional remains responsible

VitruAI does not replace the independent professional judgment, review, and sign-off of a qualified, licensed architect or engineer. The professional of record remains solely responsible for the design, its accuracy, and its compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulations, and permit requirements. You must independently verify every finding before relying on it.

3. No guarantee of code compliance

Where Output relates to codes, standards, or regulations, a "pass", a cleared rule, or the absence of a finding does not mean a model, drawing, or building complies. Codes vary by jurisdiction and change over time; VitruAI's rules may not reflect the code edition, amendments, or interpretations applicable to your project. Do not treat VitruAI Output as evidence of compliance or as a substitute for authority-having-jurisdiction review.

4. No reliance for life-safety or permitting decisions

Do not use VitruAI Output as the sole basis for any decision affecting life safety, structural adequacy, egress, fire protection, accessibility, permitting, or construction. Such decisions must be made by qualified professionals through their own review process.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Letzgro, Inc. is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost, or claim arising from reliance on VitruAI Output, including errors, omissions, false positives, or missed issues. Liability, where it cannot be excluded, is limited as set out in the Terms of Service (capped at the fees paid in the prior 3 months).

6. Your acknowledgment

By using VitruAI you acknowledge that you understand its assistive nature and that you, and the licensed professionals on your projects, retain full responsibility for reviewing its Output and for the compliance and safety of your designs.
